Currently, if you select a playlist by pressing 'play' on the remote, the playlist will start playing, however the slim client will not show the song playing on the screen. The client keeps the name of the playlist in the window.

It would be more intuitive if, when you pressed play on a playlist, the first song of the playlist were displayed in the screen. You would then be able to advance tracks, etc... Additionally, if you 'up' or 'down' arrow click, it should let you browse other songs in the playlist but not play them until pressing play.

This is by design, as this allows users to continue to add songs to the playlist, without interrupting their browse by suddenly jumping them to the now playing screen. There is a button for this on the remote, so it is only one click, versus having to re-navigate back to the previous browse location.
