Bugzilla – Bug 2907
WPA fails on Lancom 1521
Last modified: 2009-06-17 09:48:59 UTC
The Lancom configuration allows TKIP and AES for WPA. Both fails. Any non-standard features (i.e. 108Mbit/s) are switched off. Connecting the Squeezebox 3 via ethernet or unencrypted wirless works fine. I'll attach the wlan traces. The lancom support identified the following packet: The 4th client packet contains a keydata-field, which should not be in the packet. This indicates to the access point that the 3rd packet was lost and returns to this phase. -->Phase of packet (2) does not match phase expected by authenticator (4), discarding -->Received properly sequenced packet from supplicant for phase 2 -->Computing PTK -->Switching to pairwise key handshake phase 3, send corresponding packet Yesterday I updated the device to firmware version 29. I got an infinite loop: during the wireless connect the squeezebox restarts.

Is someone working on these WPA issues? I'waiting for a solution since december! Seems to be the wrong decision buying this product. Perhabs Sonos will do its job.
