Since I have updated from 6.1 to 6.2.1 and then 6.5b1 (to file this bug in good conscience), I get freezes for 60 seconds, roughly every 30 Minutes.

Audio freezes (stops), and the UI (both web and IR) freezes, too. After roughly 60 seconds (could be a minute, even), audio resumes and the UI becomes responsive again.

CPU usage on the SlimServer host drops from 3-4% CPU load (caused by playback) to completely idle during the freeze (CPU usage numbers are from top/vmstat).

It feels like some synchronous request timing out in the main event loop. 

The freeze can be observed using SliMP3, SqueezeBox2 and SoftSqueeze.

The problem did not occur on 6.1 or earlier versions. I am currently running SlimServer_v2006-01-23 on a Debian sarge box (a Mini ITX EPIA 500). The host has been running SlimServer since I first got a SliMP3 several years ago.
