Running the perl version with MySQL.  r5917 crashes with no log output.  The message below is when run from the command line.  FWIW, I had a problem with Tortoise SVN unable to get past a lock and unable to do a cleanup due to a missing svn file, so had to redownload the entire trunk.  I copied over my old slimserver.pref file and this is the message I get:

Looks like r5915 is the killer.
