we have:
custom-types.conf

slimserver-convert.conf

slimserver-strings.txt
custom-strings.txt

Sever should probably be consisten here.  either all move to just one, since there are programmatic ways to add converts, and probably more. Or, both filesname variants should be mae available in all cases.  I willing to patch either way.

svn change 5797 makes custom- and slimserver- work for all 3, types, convert and strings.
