Description Mark 2006-01-17 17:43:30 UTC
My music is stored on a network drive which I have mounted to Windows XP as a network drive. ITunes sees the music on the drive and works fine. Slimserver indicates: New value for Music Folder rejected:

Oops - "x:\" doesn't seem to be a valid directory. Try again

I've also tried X X:

Any ideas?

Ahhh, I'm new to network drives. Sooo, iTunes sees the drive as X:\ because that is what I mounted it as under windows Map Network Drive. Slimserver wanted \\THECUS_N2100\iTunes which must be some slightly lower level name for the drive. Well, it's all a mystery to my but now slimserver sees my music. Perhaps you could add this advice to a FAQ? Perhaps I missed it and it is already there.

It's there, but the list is large:
