Description Craig Garnett 2006-01-09 09:02:07 UTC
A useful enhancement would be to allow the preamp volume control to have positive values too, that way you could offset the reduction in output caused by replay gain and get an output level that matches other equipment.

It may be wise to add something to protect against tracks that don't have replay gain tags from playing too loudly.

Since this is an enhancement request, it's going to need to be moved to 6.5.

Can we re-visit this? I think its an important thing to look at now that we selling Boom. Replay Gain seriously reduces the overall volume of Boom.
