Description Blackketter Dean 2005-12-18 11:01:58 UTC
When you tune in a windows media stream, the mms: URL shows up on the screen. It should use a more friendly title
Comment 1 Chris 2005-12-20 01:38:51 UTC
Isn't this a dupe of bug 2472??
Comment 2 Blackketter Dean 2005-12-20 20:33:57 UTC
bug 2472 is about squeeze network and this one is about SlimServer....
Comment 3 Dan Sully 2006-04-21 23:56:36 UTC
Is this from a playlist or from radio tune in?
Comment 4 Dan Sully 2006-04-30 18:18:57 UTC
Dean?
Comment 5 Blackketter Dean 2006-04-30 20:06:45 UTC
I believe that the original stream was from an MMS station in picks. A stream title should never be a URL, there's always a more friendly title available.
Comment 6 Dan Sully 2006-04-30 20:08:57 UTC
Right. Is this still an issue though? I thought that was fixed..

Subject: Re: Shouldn't show mms: URLs

I saw it recently, at least on SN. Will try to reproduce in 6.3...

Comment 8 Andy Grundman 2006-05-06 09:46:18 UTC
XMLBrowser now sets title properly so I think this should be fixed at least for streams in Picks.
Comment 9 Dan Sully 2006-05-07 14:27:40 UTC
Dean - can you reproduce?
Comment 10 Dan Sully 2006-05-24 17:15:33 UTC
Marking this as fixed.. Dean, please reopen if you have a case.

Thanks

I've checked in another fix for this issue. Streams that are located within remote playlists didn't have their titles set properly to match the playlist title. Fix is in 6.3.
