I have an MP3 song, ripped via LAME, that always locks up my SB3 at the same point in time, 1:33 into the song.  The song plays fine under iTunes.  I am using Slimserver 6.2.1 under Windows XP.

I changed the configuration of my wireless router (Netgear WPN 824) from 80211g + b to only 802.11g, and the problem went away.  In addition, I am able to play back AAC files stutter-free.  My analysis is that in 802.11g + b mode my router and the squeezebox did not attain a reliable high-speed connection, and this caused problems.
