Description chad 2005-11-22 06:29:03 UTC
I use a SB2 with the latest 6.2.2 updates, my operating system is WXP.

When playing shows from the LMA, SN does not bring up all the shows that it should. I understand the LMA plugin only allows the mp3 shows to appear, but it still does not load them all?

Example:

I'm a fan of the Steve Kimock Band. His most recent show on the the LMA for 2005 appears to be 10/31/05(in mp3)

For the year 2005 LMA shows 43 shows for the Steve Kimock Band... my SB2 shows 23, not including the 10/31/05 show. I've gone thru most of the 43 and they all seem to be available in mp3? As well this repeats each time I turn it on and check. Similar missing show problems for all other bands I've checked.

http://www.archive.org/audio/etreeli...e.php?mode=mp3.

Also curious as to why the full band listings of the LMA does appear anymore. When I first got the SB2 this was the list available:

http://www.archive.org/audio/etreelisting-browse.php

Another major problem with the LMA plugin. Every time you play a show, it starts the first song- then plays the rest of the songs out of order. I've noticed this with every band I've listened to on the LMA thru the SN on my SB2.

I posted these problems on the SN forum? But looks like no fixes with the last couple of firmware updates.

Hope you can help.

Last night I noticed all the missing shows on the LMA archive were back. But as of this morning they are all missing again?

We're working on an overhaul of the LMA Plugin and data. Stay tuned..

Chad, the LMA support has been completely reworked. If this is still an issue, please reopen the bug with details. Thanks!

Still seems to be some problems with the LMA.... If you bring up the band lists available from the LMA with mp3s
http://www.archive.org/audio/etreelisting-browse.php?mode=mp3 example Steve Kimock Band... The year 2006 is not diplayed with the SB2 for the Steve Kimock Band? But the LMA link has several 2006 shows displayed? Many of the bands I checked are missing many years e.g Yonder Mountain String Band displays only 2004 and 2005(with only a couple shows from each year) yet the LMA link above has several years and a bunch of shows from each year that are not displayed with the SB2. As well it seems that 2006 is not displayed with any of the bands I've checked on the SB2?
Hope you can fix these problems! :)

Dan, is the automated opml build process working normally?
Comment 6 Dan Sully 2006-04-21 12:01:01 UTC
No - it's not. And the LMA download scripts need a bit of work.
