Description Bacsi Tibor 2005-11-18 14:43:47 UTC
The RSS is not working when an RSS is added, which contains characters with accent. ie: http://www.hwsw.hu/xml/latest_news_rss.xml contains hungarian news, but when I try to load them the Squeezebox says that it failed to load. This happens on all the RSS which has accents.
The hungarian characters with accents are: ,,,?,?,,,, (If some of these character appears like a rectangle, let me know, the Macs also have some problems on the internet encoding of the accented chars)

Also, I noticed that the Version in this bug reporting page contains versions greater than 26 (up to 28), but when I try to upgrade my box with the brightness button, it still says after the update that the version is 26.

Thanks in advance,
 Bacsi Tibor

Another user reported a problem with a non-english rss feed:

Is this possibly related?

This works in both the 6.2.2 nightlies and 6.5

The second URL that Kevin pasted I get a 404 from.
