I have an album that was tagged with iTunes, and contains an Artist tag. The album shows up properly when browsing the web interface, but several songs do not show the artist in the song list or while it is playing. Not a major problem, except that it causes iTunesUpdate to crash the slimserver.

For example:
Super Drei by Die �rzte from Planet Punk 
Schnuder-Song from Planet Punk

The first song has the artist, the second does not.

Allan - I'm not able to reproduce this.. what does your Title Formatting look like?

Hi Dan,
My Title Format is:
TITLE by ARTIST from ALBUM


I am using the Fishbone skin, Tan style, if it matters.
"Die" is also in my "Articles To Ignore When Sorting" list. 

Woah... Just switched to the Default skin, and the artist shows correctly.
And to make it more intereting, switching back to Fishbone, the artist shows up correctly now.

Hmmm... 

Just checked, and a previoulsy malfunctioning track is now working OK... Strange. Could the skin change fix it, or was it a scanning problem that was fixed by a subsequent rescan?

At either rate, it seems to be working OK now.
