Description Tass Iliopoulos 2005-11-08 04:33:10 UTC
Set router to allow both WPA and WPA2 and my Squeezebox2 connects fine with WPA, but fails using WPA2.

Windows XP is able to recognise the router as WPA2 and connect successfully.

I've also tried only allowing WPA2 but the squeezebox still fails.

Router firmware is V2.0.15_1.0.11

This fix requires us to update the kernel version in the firmware. Not going to make it for 6.2.1.

Please test with the firmware 33 that's included with the latest nightly releases and reopen the bug if you are still having issues. Thanks.

I'm still having issues.
When my router is set to allow both WPA and WPA2 (WPA-PSK [TKIP] + WPA2-PSK [AES]) it times out connecting with WPA2, and only connects with WPA. If I set it to allow only WPA2 it's fine.

Other PCs are able to connect with either when I have it set to allow both.

I have a fix that should appear in firmware 37. Will update this bug when it's available for download.

Please try the latest nightly build with Firmware 37 and reopen if you have
issues. Also, please note details of your configuration if you have not
already.
