The description for Event ID ( 0 ) in Source ( Application ) cannot be found.
The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message
DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the
/AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details.
The following information is part of the event: Can't use string ("") as a
subroutine ref while "strict refs" in use at /PerlApp/Slim/Buttons/Common.pm
line 1052.

Cannot reproduce the problem.

Geoff: were using the remote at the time this happened? If so, what screen were you on?
Also, do you have any plugins installed?
Comment 2 Geoff Soord 2005-11-06 10:50:51 UTC
I was using the orignal remote when this happened. This is on the original
Slimp3 player, text was in large mode and I was attempting to browse music folder.

I have the following plugins installed:

Date and Time
Favorites
iTunes
Lyrics Version 0.4b
MoodLogic
MusicMagic
Podcast Browser
Random Mix
Rescan Music Library
RSS News Ticker
Save Playlist
Server & Network Health
SlimTris
Snow Screensaver
Visualizer Screensaver

Geoff: what were you doing with the remote when this happened? What part of the user interface were you navigating?

I suspect that one of the plugins you installed has a bug in it that's causing this problem. I have no way to reproduce it here.

Do you have a way to make it happen again? (In the mean time, I'm going to add a little extra debugging code to the server to make it easier to track down if it happens again.)
Comment 4 KDF 2006-04-28 15:59:27 UTC
Is this still an issue? Do we have any new debug output for such an event?
Comment 5 Geoff Soord 2006-04-29 08:00:39 UTC
Consider the problem closed. I have not being able to reproduce the problem or obtain more information. I have now moved on to 6.3. If the problem reoccurs I will report it again. I know it's difficult to debug if you cannot reproduce the issue.
Comment 6 KDF 2006-04-29 10:57:35 UTC
difficult to find, and often they end up accidentally fixed :)
thanks for getting back to us. Please reopen if you see this issue again.
