Description Dave 2005-11-06 05:37:37 UTC
Server > Internet Radio

SHOUTcast Internet Radio

Browse SHOUTcast list of Internet Radio streams.

Number of Streams

How many streams to get. Default is 300, maximum is 2000.
-------------------------------------------------------------------

I have my Shoutcast stream set to 1000

SlimServer Version: 6.2.1 - 5072 is throwing up the following error:

There was an error parsing the stream information. Try reducing the number of
streams if you've set a great number. (2)

This goes away if I reduce my list to 300.

It sorts itself out if I set the stream list to 999. Setting it to 1000 throws
up the error

This is not a bug in Slimserver. The server got an invalid XML file from shoutcast.com. This is mainly due
to malformed character encoding in the file. Reducing the number of streams (as you did) will very likely
remove the station from the file as the more popular stations have correct title tags.

I tried to contact shoutcast.com and a station that caused the problem before, without any reaction.

Sorry, it seemed like a bug. Thanks for a quick response.
