Hi there.  I purchased a Squeezebox2 last year and have been very happy with it.

Today I downloaded & installed the new software (6.2). This is on a new install
of XP SP2.

When I try to start the server, I get the icon appearing in the tray, with the
bubble "Slim starting" ... but nothing else.  So I right click on the desktop
icon, and select "start as", then select myself.  When I do this I get the
following message:

Panic: cannot create singleton 'PerlTray_SlimTray.pl

I have rebooted the machine, and get the same results.

Can you help me?  I miss my music!!!

This is a support issue, and probably woudl have been more appropriate on the
forums.  However, uninstall, download 6.2.1 and please try the install again.
