I have the Squeezebox on top of my TV. It would be nice to have an Electronic 
Program Guide Plugin to use in standby mode to be able to check whats on the TV 
channels. The plugin should use xmltv. The arrow buttons may be used to step 
through the channels (left/right) and through time (up/down). The + button may 
be used to enter/exit detailed program info on the selected program, using the 
arrow buttons to scroll. When the remote has not been used for a while, the 
first row of the display can show "Now: XXX", what's on the currently selected 
channel, and the second row can cycle/scroll through all defined channels "Next 
on CHANNEL TIME PROGRAM" etc.

There is already a television plugin that uses xmltv.
