Description Julius Friede 2004-03-30 00:35:58 UTC
Ever since using the nightly builds that are v5.1.2, the SlimServer does not read the contents of saved
playlists. I am using iTunes on OSX 10.3.3. The playlist names are recognized, just not the contents. I
haved recreated the playlists and rebuilt the XML file to no avail.

Correction: it's not a v5.1.2 problem. The problem seems to appear with the latest firmware update.
The 3/21 build works fine.

Hi Julius. I don't think it's possible that the firmware would affect the playlists. Does the latest nightly
build have this issue? If so, does the problem go away when you roll back to the 3/21 build? Finally, is
this all saved playlists or just iTunes playlists?

Comment 3 Julius Friede 2004-03-30 08:04:14 UTC
the 3/29 build had the problem and going back to the 3/21 build worked fine. I only use iTunes
playlists, so i have nothing else to compare. I'll see if the 3/30 build is also a problem.

the 3/30 build also showes empty playlists. I don't think the firmware update is the culprit, especially
since my Slimp3 also showd empty playlists, but the problem does coincide with the firmware change.

Thanks, Julius. I found and fixed the bug and updated the nightly build. Can you verify that it's working
for you and close the bug if so?

the playlists are fine now, except that one playlist appeared in the Squeezebox three times, all empty. I
deleted it and moved on.

There are 536 bugs in the database with targets of '---' that were fixed prior to new year 2006. I am setting them to targets of 6.2.1 to keep them from showing up in my queries.
