Description Philip Meyer 2005-10-13 03:36:38 UTC
I was playing a track, which reported a track length of 05:05. The track
played fine, but then started to play the next song without updating the
display, which was still trying to report progress through the previous
track. The progress bar was at 100%, and the time remaining reported negative
negative minutes and seconds, eg: --1:-12. After that, as each track
finished, the now-playing display was one track behind what was actually
playing.

I went back to the first track that cause the problem and played it again
without any issues. I haven't been able to repeat the problem yet, although
another user said he had the same problem a few times in the past.

Other user has indicated that he's actually seen this issue but on a SB2, so I
have changed the Component to "Player UI".

For me, I have only actually seen it go wrong within SoftSqueeze.

I'm moving this bug to softsqueeze, would like a new bug with details on the SB2 experience.

Richard: you there?
Comment 3 Richard Titmuss 2005-10-22 14:39:52 UTC
The slimserver was not always using the buffer status returned from softsqueeze
correctly. Adrain checked in a fix for this (r4542). I will assume that this has
fixed this problem, please reopen if you can still recreate the bug. Thanks.
