Description Carl T. Fulp 2005-10-08 18:01:41 UTC
Running Squeezebox as wired. Latest Slimserver nightly run from Windows XP
laptop. Play exclusively FLACs pulled from a NAS. Dropouts occur at the
beginning of EVERY track and sporadically throughout tracks. At least one drop
out occurs on every track not including the drop out that occurs at the
beginning of every track. If any other application accesses the NAS, drop outs
become severe to the point where the track is unlistenable.

original squeezebox accepts only WAV and MP3 natively. This means that your
flac files are being decoded to wav. Your NAS may not be capable of the added
cpu required. Check cpu usage.

Haven't seen this in a while. Please reopen if you can reproduce in 7.0.
