Description Will Irace 2005-09-30 15:50:36 UTC
Fishbone's default search type in the left frame is now "Search for songs". I
think it would be more useful for the "Search Music" mode to be active by
default, since it is a more inclusive search and I tend to use it much more often.

It should be a quick HTML change to move the "SELECTED" flag from the MANSEARCH
option to the SEARCH option, but I'm not too familiar with the code that
actually generates this HTML--it appears that the first option of the <select>
construct is in pageheader.html, but the rest of the options are generated by
"[% PROCESS addBrowseLinks links=additionalLinks.search %]" whatever that is.

Unfortunately, making 'search music' selected by default disables the pulldown
for access to live search. Either that, so the pulldown looks stupid with
'Search Music' listed twice (server doesn't provide a link named "live search")

guess the pulldown finally has to go. I'll move the search options into the
single pulldown and leave a simple text box form on the right to access the
manual search.

Sounds great to me. As long as that box on the right does the more inclusive search.

Thanks!

There are 536 bugs in the database with targets of '---' that were fixed prior to new year 2006. I am setting them to targets of 6.2.1 to keep them from showing up in my queries.
