Request first entered into the slim devices forum, now requested more formally
for a crossfeed plugin that would mix the left channels and right channels (only
delayed and attenuated), to simulate virtual space.

This could be implemented by FIR and would be useful to have FIR capability for
equalizing, crossfeed and room correction, along with various tube simulators.

All new Squeezebox products are likely to be based on the SqueezePlay platform.
We do not plan to implement any further enhancements to the ip3k firmware or
which are targeted specifically at ip3k-based products.
