Description Daniel Barrett 2005-09-23 13:56:49 UTC
Please support the "Rescan Music Library" operation on subsets of the music
library. If all I've done is update a few ID3 tags on a few albums, there
should be no need to rescan the whole music library, just the albums whose tags
have changed.

For example, on the web page for a given album (Home / Browse Albums /
name-of-album), if you could do a "Rescan" operation to rescan only the albums
by that particular artist, that would be really convenient for those of us who
maintain our ID3 tags frequently.

Currently in 6.2, Browse Music Folder detects changes within each folder and
will rescan the contents of that folder. I'd recommend trying it out.

Yes - please use Browse Music Folder for this functionality.

There are 536 bugs in the database with targets of '---' that were fixed prior to new year 2006. I am setting them to targets of 6.2.1 to keep them from showing up in my queries.
