Description Kevin Pearsall 2005-09-12 16:11:01 UTC
reproduced with r4247/trunk

customer reported issue.

customer supplied some sample files as well:
Colo-rectalSurgeon2.wav: RIFF (little-endian) data, WAVE audio, MPEG Layer 3,
stereo 11025 Hz (just does not play)
buhbye2.wav: RIFF (little-endian) data, WAVE audio, IMA ADPCM, mono
11025 Hz (gives a problem: cant open file for error, i guess because of the IMA
ADPCM format??)
chicken.wav: RIFF (little-endian) data, WAVE audio, Microsoft PCM, 8
bit, mono 11025 Hz (just does not play)
delta.wav: RIFF (little-endian) data, WAVE audio, Microsoft PCM, 8
bit, mono 11025 Hz (just does not play)
esquzme.wav: RIFF (little-endian) data, WAVE audio, Microsoft PCM, 8
bit, mono 11025 Hz (just does not play)
moo.wav: RIFF (little-endian) data, WAVE audio, Microsoft PCM, 8
bit, mono 8000 Hz (just does not play)

will attach these sample files. (i wonder what the rectal surgeon one is??)

Comment 2 Blackketter Dean 2005-09-14 12:49:31 UTC
Not going to make it for 6.2
Comment 3 Chris Owens 2006-08-16 14:21:07 UTC
Ross, can you try playing these files?
Comment 4 Ross Levine 2006-08-16 16:43:43 UTC
SlimServer Version: 6.5b1 - 8785 - Mac OS X 10.4.7 (8J135) - EN - utf8

These files don't play on SB2 or and SB3.
Comment 5 Chris Owens 2006-08-17 11:03:04 UTC
Dean, what is the priority for making these work? Shall I assign them on to Richard for 6.5? Or set them to Future?
Comment 6 Blackketter Dean 2006-08-22 11:50:30 UTC
We'll have to deal with this after 6.5.
Comment 7 Richard Titmuss 2008-01-10 12:34:12 UTC
Reassigning Squeezebox firmware bugs to Felix.
Comment 8 Alan Young 2010-05-07 10:52:54 UTC
All new Squeezebox products are likely to be based on the SqueezePlay platform.
We do not plan to implement any further enhancements to the ip3k firmware or
which are targeted specifically at ip3k-based products.
