Description Phil Drummond 2005-09-12 13:49:10 UTC
the dhcp client is supposed to set the secs field of a dhcpdiscover to the
number of seconds since it began trying to acquire a lease. it seems from dhcpd
logs that the secs field is consistently zero over the three dhcpdiscover
packets issued by the squeezebox, though the first two packets are three seconds
apart and the last packet 6-7 seconds later. This results in a pair of dhcp
servers failing to answer the squeezebox if the secondary server is the one that
holds the lease and has min-secs > 0 as it is supposed to.

Alas, this won't be fixed in SB1. Bug also present in SB2, moving to that product.

Fixed as of SB2 firmware 23
