Selecting 'Look for new and changed music' from the rescan music library drop
down causes the Slimserver software to stop. slimserver status resturns the
slimserver is stopped.  Selecting the clear the database option works fine

What is teh crash message?  this may already be fixed.

ok well, due to the timing, I'm going to take a bit of a leap and say this was
the same as bug 2099 and mark this off as a dupe.  Please re-open if you are
still having scan problems.
