Description Philip Meyer 2005-09-08 01:41:29 UTC
If I fast forward or rewind through a track and press pause, then the
squeezebox gets very confused when it comes out of pause mode. It still skips
through the track, but reports that it is in normal speed. A way to get out
of the state is to scan again, then press play to end the scan.

Pressing pause should return the playback speed to normal, like play does.

If the fast forward implementation is changed in the future (various
enhancement requests, such as 1592, 1649, 1911) to be only whilst the key is
held down, then this problem would go away. These are not due until 6.5
though, so perhaps this PR may be minor enough to slip in before tackling
those.

For now I keep getting in a bit of a state because I have other handsets where
the play button is between << and >>, so I find I sometimes press pause
instead of play on the SB remote.

Agreed, we'll fix this with the other trick mode issues in 6.5.
