Description Sue Chastain 2005-09-07 20:37:23 UTC
Is there any chance of getting a "full" font that is narrower included? I made
one by copying and scrunching the regular full font bitmap and it works, but
it's not very pretty.

perhaps some polite requests to the author of this tool:
http://mylefteye.com/sbgfonts/

might persuade him to release a version that creates the higher res fonts for
squeezebox2

This is a good idea, but won't make it for 6.2. Sue: check out those fonts and add your thoughts about
one you'd like to see.
Comment 3 Sue Chastain 2005-09-09 18:14:01 UTC
It's hard to say until you see it on the screen from across the room, but here
are some from my font collection that I thought could work:

Abadi MT Condensed
Arial Narrow
Myriad Web Pro Condensed
Futura Medium Condensed
Humanist 521 Condensed BT
News Gothic Condensed BT
Xerox Sans Serif Narrow

Also, here's the reply from Bob about updating the TTtfToSbg program:

Thanks for considering.

Fonts are generated by slimserver.
