Description Tom R. Loden 2005-09-03 15:28:19 UTC
Even though a song is altered, a "Rescan Music Library" still remembers the old
information. Specifically, songs that show up under the "No Album" category
under "Browse Albums" do not change. Initially, a song will have no album
entered in it's ID3v1 and ID3v2 tag. I then enter an album via MP3TAG and move
the song to a different directory. After rescanning, the song still shows up
under "No Album" in the old directory in the "Lccation:" field.

These do NOT fix the problem:
1. Rescan with "Clear library before rescan" selected.
2. Deleting C:\Program Files\SlimServer\server\Cache\slimserversql.db
3. (2.) and rebooting.
4. Flushing Mozilla cache.

Version is: SlimServer Version: 6.1.1 - 3774 - Windows 2000 - EN - cp1252

do 6.1.2 or (more importantly) 6.2 builds fix the problem?

You most likely have a playlist that has the old title in it, referring to that file.

I did upgrade to 6.2b1 and that seemed to fix it.

The "old playlist" solved the mystery, though.
