Description KB Lee 2005-09-03 01:27:17 UTC
SB2 supports onboard FLAC decoding. When playing the FLAC file format, there
is currently no easy visual indicator to tell whether SB2 is performing
onboard FLAC decoding vs a server-transcode. It would be useful to integrate a
visual indicator reflecting the status.

Besides FLAC, this visual indicator could also be handy for displaying native
WMA decoding, MP3, etc.

There is a Musical Note (Eighth Note) display at bottom right corner in the
Now Playing screen. This serves little purpose to me. Instead, this space can
be used for displaying more meaningful info such as stream format indicator as
described in this FR.

May I propose implementing this FR in 6.5?
Comment 3 KDF 2005-11-05 00:40:17 UTC
do you have a patch?
Comment 4 KB Lee 2005-11-06 19:06:26 UTC
I'm afraid no. While I love to help but I am no developer.
