Description Greg Dowling 2005-08-29 15:15:44 UTC
When the SB2 is powered off, and the PC running the slimserver is in standby -
a power command from the Slim Remote will send a Wake on Lan packet.

Another remote that send a power command, will not send the WOL.

(I tested this on firmware 18 - but it's not yet listed above).

This other remote, is it sending the JVC code, or the slim devices remote code?

Comment 2 Greg Dowling 2005-08-29 23:57:29 UTC
It's sending an NEC code like the JVC remote - but not the JVC code itself.

When mapped with an appropriate .ir file the code correctly turns on the SB2 -
as long as the server PC is not in standby.

well, here's the problem. The IR mapping for your code set is happening on the server, which is asleep
when you send that code. The WOL packet will be sent with our default JVC code set, but not for
arbitrary codes. Sorry, not sure what we can do about it.
