album art displays incorrectly when two album names by the same artist are present

it only shows the artwork for one album, and possibly links to the wrong album anyway (the image may not match the album its linking to)
Please be more specific. Is this with embedded artwork or files on disk? If the latter, please provide an example directory tree. Also, please make the description actually mean something, as I can't decipher what you're trying to say. Does this exist in 6.2 as well?
i was able to reproduce this with r4084 of 6.2, yes. basically what i did was opened itunes, put a different image on two songs from the same artist, same album, then changed the artist name on one of them and cleared out the music library and rescanned. that way they both had the same album name but different artist names. if i go in to browse artists, both of the artists show up there ("mc chris" and "not mc chris"), but in browse artwork only one of the albums shows up. the customer that reported this is not using embedded images, but i was, so i don't think that has anything to do with this issue. i don't think anything special needs to be done with the directory tree. you just need two albums tagged with the same album name (in his situation he has a george michael album called Faith and a faith hill album called Faith, and only one album artwork image shows up)
Work around is to add 'Faith' to the Common Album Titles list in Settings
I've commited a fix as subversion change 4111.
