When set to: TRACKNUM. TITLE from ALBUM by ARTIST Compilation CD's by Various Artists have the entire CD listed as being by the artist currently playing. In the example below, if track #1 is playing, then they are all listed as being by Bonnie Raitt at the end of the list. The current playlist (Download, Clear) 1. Pride and Joy from Tribute to Stevie Ray Vaughan by Bonnie Raitt from Tribute to Stevie Ray Vaughan by Bonnie Raitt (Remove) 2. Texas Flood from Tribute to Stevie Ray Vaughan by Jimmie Vaughan from Tribute to Stevie Ray Vaughan by Bonnie Raitt (Remove) 3. Telephone Song from Tribute to Stevie Ray Vaughan by B.B. King from Tribute to Stevie Ray Vaughan by Bonnie Raitt (Remove) 4. Long Way from Home from Tribute to Stevie Ray Vaughan by Buddy Guy from Tribute to Stevie Ray Vaughan by Bonnie Raitt In the example below, if track #2 is playing, then they are all listed as being by Jimmie Vaughan at the end of the list. I tag them with the artist tags being the contributing artist instead of "Various Artists". Using the 2/25/2004 nightly build.
Correction: This appears to happen with ALL listings. The currently playing artist is listed as the "by xxxx". There appears to be a double "from album by artist" Example from a random shuffle: 71. Since You Said You Loved Me from Playback by Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers from Brutal Youth by Elvis Costello
Is this with all skins, or just one in particular?
Appears in most non "default" skins. Purple, Olsen, etc. Just confirmed, this does not happen in Default or Fishbone (two which I never use).
I tried a fix for this april 19th. Do recent nightlies fix this problem for you?
