Description James Craig 2005-08-13 03:14:50 UTC
The full scan is working correctly, but subsequent rescans are losing accented
tracks.
e.g. the whole album "Nio Rojo" by Devendra Banhart disappears, but his other
(non-accented) albums remain.

After wipe/scan:
Your music library contains 1383 albums with 9704 songs by 1836 artists.
After rescan:
Your music library contains 1359 albums with 9553 songs by 1821 artists.

Dan: did you see this?

James - please try with the 6.2 nightlies - there's been a lot of work in this area.

Thanks.

yes this works OK in 6.2, however the 6.2 rescan has become incredibly slow
since I last tried it - 14 minutes from about 5 on 6.1.2...

Ok - I believe I know what's going on with the performance issue - can you open another bug?
Comment 5 James Craig 2005-08-17 02:05:22 UTC
want to use bug 1469 or I can reopen bug 1093 ?
