hi tom. this behavior was as designed, but it sounds like you don't like it. what would you expect the
behavior to be when turning off one player in a group that's synced? should it get unsynced? should it
stop all the players? should it turn off and then sync up when turned on again?

syncing power commands is a feature request.
This could be done as an option. when the player is powered back on, does it
rejoing the sync group?

Dean --

I was under the impression that synched players would stay synced. So, yes that does seem to me that
they should power on and off together as per the prior bug. But it also means that if you reboot the
server, the players should still be synched (they aren't now). In fac, I think they should just stay
synched under all circumstances until you tell them to stop.

My situation is that I have one main player feeding a house-wide audio distribution system. Other
players scattered around the house have no audio connection -- they act merely as remote controllers
for the main player via the sync option. So, I want these players to stay synched for all time under all
circumstances whatsoever. If they ever lose sunc, my whole system falls apart. No one in my family
has the energy to run back upstairs to re-sync things whenever the system stops working mysteriously.
The result is that we just dson't use the system. I put a lot of money into this system (foolishly?)
thinking it would "just work", and now all that money is resting on this one series of bugs. Whatever
you guys can do to make synching really stick under all conceivable circumstances will make the
difference for me between a system that works and one that is headed for the trash can. Thanks...
