Clear player playlist (CLEAR button from web interface)
Add songs to player playlist
Save playlist
Clear player playlist
Rescan playlists
Saved playlist is gone! File is still there but contains 0 entries.

I've not been able to reproduce this.

I've checked in a few fixes to the trunk that might help though.

Could you sync up and let me know?

Well, it happens on the 6.1.x branch only. It seems fixed on the trunk.

Fixed in the 6.1 branch with subversion change 3905.
