Description Dave 2005-07-23 07:30:17 UTC
In the main-screen of the fishbone skin the Volume and Tone-controls have
disappeared. However in the undocked player-window the controls are present in
the way I was used to. Happens both in IE and Firefox.

used to, as in when? if you are using an http client, there will be no
controls. they appear fine for me in firefox, IE and safari. can you supply a
screenshot.

do you have your player set to fixed digital volume?

dave, you there? any more details that I might actually be able to work with?

Sorry kdf, I've been away from the server a while... I don't know when exactly
these controls have disappeared. The client is a SB-G. I'll check about the
fixed digital volume when I'm at home, but from here I think I have indeed
checked that option. Also, today or tomorrow I'll install the newest nightly
version; maybe that will fix it. I'll keep you informed!

Thanks!

If you have the digital audio pref set, the Fishbone skin assumes that this
means you are using the digital output and thus do not need volume controls
cluttering up the UI. If this is not the case, can you describe your setup a
bit, let me know why you need digital output fixed, but still want analog volume
control accessible?

Uninstalled and installed the latest 6.1 and that fixed it (but probably
unchecking the fixed volume box would have had the same effect!). Thanks for
the great support by the way...
