Ignore Unchecked songs info is confusing
Last modified: 2009-09-08 09:11:52 UTC
Unchecked songs, are disabled. That's easy. Confusion is, does ignoring mean to keep the tracks? or does ignore mean don't scan unchecked tracks (ie: removing them). Proposed strings: SETUP_IGNOREDISABLEDITUNESTRACKS EN Remove Songs Disabled in iTunes SETUP_IGNOREDISABLEDITUNESTRACKS_DESC EN If SlimServer is using your iTunes Music Library, it can remove the songs that you have unchecked in iTunes from the slimserver database. If you want to access all the songs in your iTunes Library even if they are unchecked, you can change that setting here. SETUP_IGNOREDISABLEDITUNESTRACKS_1 EN Keep songs unchecked in iTunes SETUP_IGNOREDISABLEDITUNESTRACKS_0 EN Remove songs unchecked in iTunes This will allow the current code in iTunes to work as is, without having to change the pref.
Does this mean the above strings are good?
How about this: SETUP_IGNOREDISABLEDITUNESTRACKS EN Unchecked Songs in iTunes SETUP_IGNOREDISABLEDITUNESTRACKS_DESC EN By default, when you remove the check mark next to a song in iTunes, that song won't appear when you browse your music with SlimServer. You can change that behavior below. SETUP_IGNOREDISABLEDITUNESTRACKS_1 EN Include all songs SETUP_IGNOREDISABLEDITUNESTRACKS_0 EN Don't include unchecked songs
I'd be happy with those
