Description david.joplin 2014-11-27 01:18:29 UTC
I have a large library of music on Windows 8.1 64 bit running the latest build of LMS 7.9. I cannot get the scanner to complete a clean sweep without going into a loop. Looking at the log it seems to stop (usually in "S") on a different file each time. I can remove the file, restart the scan, but it gets stuck again. The clock on the web view keeps running but the file name is constant. I can stop the scanner using Task Manager and then restart. It runs for a few minutes and then stops again. Sometimes when I abort I get a display of the library characteristics albeit incomplete. Please let me know what information you need to resolve this issue.

Please enable debugging for all scan.* options, re-run a scan and upload the scanner.log file.

How large is a "large library"?
