In LMS 7.9 a new & changed scan, when updating files with edited comments, appears to add the new comment without removing the old one. This can then be seen on the song info page as the track having more than one comment.

In LMS 7.8, it appears that edited comments are not updated at all by a new & changed scan.

Yes. In LMS 7.9 each time I edit the comment, a new & changed scan adds the edited comment to the database. On the song info page in the web UI they're all listed, separated by forward slashes. If I 'View Tags', it correctly shows only one comment field with the most recent edit.

Seems to be working correctly now in 7.8. Not sure if it was fixed or my last report was in error. I've changed the version for the bug report.
