Bugzilla – Bug 18114
Issue with "Defeat destructive touch to play" and Squeezebox Radio when using App
Last modified: 2014-08-13 08:02:48 UTC
When I set "Defeat destructive touch to play" to "always ask before playing" I see different behaviour when playing tracks to a Radio compared to a Touch. Steps to reproduce. 1. Under Server Settings/Player/Basic Settings set "Play other songs in album" to "Play only selected song" and set "Defeat destructive Touch-to-play" to "Always ask before playing your selection" 2. Using either the Logitech Android App or Orange Squeeze select the Radio as the player. Navigate to an album and select the first track. You will see four choices. Only "Add to end" and "Play this song" work. "Play next" and "Play all songs" do nothing. 3. Select the Touch as the player. Select a different track (This is important as will be seen later). This time all four choices work. 4. Now select the Radio as the player and select the same track as in step 3. Now all four choices work on the Radio. 5. Keep the Radio as the player and select a different track. Again only "Add to end" and "Play this song" work. 6. Select the Touch as the player and select the same track as in step 5. Now only "Add to end" and Play this song" work on the Touch simply because you have attempted and failed to "Play all songs" from this track on the Radio. If anything isn't clear let me know. Bug applies to LMS 7.8 and 7.9
I'm sorry to ask, but would you have a chance to test with 7.7, too?

I haven't looked in to this issue yet. But yes, that might make a difference. But we've never done a 7.8 firmware for Radio...
