Description Jim McAtee 2014-06-17 01:55:07 UTC
The basic search no longer finds Various Artists, although it does appear in the new drop-down search, and that link works correctly. If you use the search box and hit Enter or click the button, or if you use the live/basic search page, Various Artists is not found.

Jim - could you please repeat your browse settings, just for the records? Thanks!
Comment 2 Jim McAtee 2014-06-17 03:58:48 UTC
I've tried it with pretty much every combination of settings and it still fails. Two artist lists, single list, group compilations, don't group them.

I'm not sure how I didn't notice it before, but when the Browse Artists setting is set to two separate lists, all artist searches from the basic search fail to return anything.

Not sure if the VA search problem should be considered separate to this, but this appears to be more broken.

Commit 4a870edc9e79e0090d5574e6ad8b66f5dcd3f4d3 - need to set up all relations needed in searches.

The Various Artists search bug remains. Separate bug?
Comment 6 Michael Herger 2014-06-17 07:10:25 UTC
As you renamed the bug I considered it a separate issue. So yes, please open a new bug (or clone from this one).
