Squeezeplay doesn't connect on Windows 8

* SB Server and SqueezePlay both run from my windows 8 computer. Tried different versions for both SB server (7.4.1 and 7.7.2) and SqueezePlay (nov. 4 and one downloaded on may 15 2012). 

* Both versions of queezeplay connect fine from two other pc's i tried it on, none work from my windows 8 pc

* Tried different compatibility mode settings, Win7, Xp SP3 and run as admin

* Note after installation i get an error "Unable to execute file C:\xxx\squeezeplay.exe, CreateProcess failed, code 740, The requested operation requires elevation."

Note it shows "Connecting to LivingRoom" for about a minute and then says "Problem Connecting. We couldn't connect to woonkamer (blabla). Try again / switch library".

On clicking both options it goes toe the "Connecting to..." screen again. So it doesn't show mysqueezebox.com as an option.

Also note that i tried several settings on my router and tried disabling Windows firewall
