I have been using a Squeezebox Classic for the last couple of years, and it's terrific. Just the other day the Live Music Archive Application seemed to stop being able to find any artists or other data. I am wondering if others have experienced the same issue and/or have any thoughts as to why I am not getting content from LMA any longer through the Squeezebox

I got the following response from the good folks at the Live Music Archive. If this is indeed the issue, what do I need to do to reconfigure the Squeezebox to locate this changed domain??

Any thoughts/experience with this??? Thanks!

From Live Music Archive:

"We switched our domain from www.archive.org to archive.org. If that application is looking for the www that could explain it."

How many votes does it normally take for a bug to be assigned?

They should attend to this as The Live music archive is a really good selling point for the squeezebox.

It looks like a simple problem to fix no ?
I agree Live Music Archive is a great selling point for Squeezebox.
Hope something will be done soon.

Thanks.

I noticed this a couple of months ago, but assumed it would be fixed by now. I tried re-installing the LMA app without success. Now I am joining the hordes of bereft LMA junkies in their single-minded pursuit of the return of their beloved at-home concert experiences!

Does not work. Please give us a glimmer of hope that Logitech cares about the customer base enough to fix this!

I agree. Live Music Archive is broken and returns Empty results on all searches. No programs can be retrieved. This app is now useless on my Squeezebox Touch devices. Please fix!!!

ditto
one of the reasons I bought the Touch was archive.org support, please fix!

I bought the Squeezebox as a gift to my Deadhead brother-in-law because of the internat archive. I also just bought it for myself. I did not know this feature wasn't working. When you look at the Logitech Squeezebox site, it advertises that you can use the internet archive on this device. Please fix it before I am ready to do my reviews of the Squeezebox on Amazon, Best Buy, Logitech, and everywhere else I can review this device.

I'm reiterating my desire to see this issue fixed. It WAS one of the most attractive features of the Squeezebox Radio. Now it is the most potentially disturbing sign that Logitech is not listening to its customer base.

The featured Live Music Archive that's listed as an Ap on Squeezebox Server is still not working August 2012. It's a wonder that something listed in My Apps hasn't been working for 6 months.
