Me and others has since the installing of OSX 10.8 Mountain Lion had the same problem with complete mute Squeezeplay. Tried to install the latest nightly 7.7.2r9599 without success..

The client plays but do not send any output.

Squeezeplay is connected to the LMS. They can each see each other, and each thinks that music is being streamed and played.

I have the same issue. Seems related to Airplay in OSX

I have the same issue. When I turn off Apple TV, it works. After turning it on again, the problem comes back.

The issue seems to be that squeezeplay sends the audio out to the first audio device reported by the system. As of mountain lion, if you have an airplay device (apple TV, airport express base station, etc.) visible to the system, that device becomes the first device reported by the system, and that's where the audio goes.

COntinue to have the issue. Hope someone works on it because it is really critical (no sound!). But it seems that so far we only have 5 votes, so hopefully others will also vote.
