Description Darren Warner 2012-05-27 23:28:55 UTC
Hi,

I upgraded to LMS 7.7.2 - r33893 on Ubuntu 12.04. I'm using an Oppo BDP-93 as the DLNA browser. I've tried this via an upgrade from 7.6, and also completely removing the old squeezeboxserver package.

I've added my photo and video directories for LMS to scan, but I'm unable to see any media show up when browsing on a DLNA viewer.

- Music is working fine

- I do see my directory structure under photos and videos (and Albums/Year/Date under pictures)

- I installed LMS on a Windows machine and scanned my media via a CIFS-mounted share, and this worked.

- If I copy/symlink media files to the root of one of the directories configured in LMS, then server.log does shows:

[12-05-27 22:59:26.1099] Slim::Utils::Scanner::LMS::__ANON__ (260) Scanning new media files (2)

(still not able to see any media though)

Did you make sure that the permissions on the new video folders are such that LMS can read them ?

Checked that the permissions are Ok.

A video that I copied to the root folder is now showing up - I'm not sure when it appeared. I've copied another file and run a rescan, it's not showing up yet, but will continue to check.
