Description Joe Peterson 2012-04-13 14:22:40 UTC
If I skip to the next (or previous) track while a song is playing, the audio changes as expected, and most items on the display update, including the track information, but the time and progress bar stay as they were for 2-3 seconds (and then change to indicate the start of the track). In other words, there is now a delay in updating the progress bar and time when changing tracks.

In older firmware/server versions, all items on the display change (as expected) at once. I do not know when this problem appeared, but I know it exists on firmware 137.

If this is really a server issue and not firmware, please let me know if I need to re-submit a bug, or feel free to change this bug to indicate this.

I am now at:

Player Model: Squeezebox Classic
Firmware: 137

The behavior has slightly changed: when I advance to the next track, the progress bar momentarily goes to a different position (not zero, but perhaps 5%, but this varies), then in a second or two it jumps back to zero. The music of the next track, as before, starts immediately, the same time as this momentary display of a higher-than-zero level.

Any comments on this? Will this bug report be assigned or changed from "New"?

I got an "Internal server error", and when I tried again, I attempted to spceify "only latest comment", but the last comment was duplicated...
