Description tetz 2005-07-10 05:54:22 UTC
posted this already on the 6.1b forum, but realize this is the proper place.

So here again:

Used to be able to edit individual play list items in the Web interface
(Fishbone) with 6.0. This function has been removed in 6.1beta. Is that an
oversight or did that happen by design?

I use that function as a very convenient way to edit my playlists with internet
radio stations. URLs still are changing a lot!

Please, can you put it back!

you can still edit playlists, just as always. browse playlist, edit playlist.
please explain what troubles you are having? provide a screenshot if you can,
to help illustrate.

This isn't specific to the fishbone skin. change 3445 started using [% IF
item.isRemoteUrl %] to allow edit of remote urls only. Unfortunately, this
aspect of the object does not exist.

committed a workaround to fishbone skin only at change 3664, which allows edit
link for everthing.

a proper fix will have to come from the server somehow.

Suspected that this would have to do with the server.

Since this all implies that functionality available in 6.0 was lost in 6.1,
should I resubmit with the details you gave, or just leave it?
Comment 4 KDF 2005-07-11 08:54:43 UTC
you do not have to resubmit, as this information is now already part of this bug
report.
Comment 5 KDF 2005-07-12 17:58:55 UTC
fix committed to trunk at change 3676. update due in July 13, nightly build.

This bug was marked resolved in Slimserver 6.1, which is several versions ago. If you're still seeing this bug, please re-open it. Thanks!
