The problem:
Missing podcasts as alarm choices.

The situation:
Users need to set up the Squeezebox Radio to play the latest edition of a podcast as an ALARM. Podcasts are among the Apps that are available to the Squeezebox Radio.  As Random Mix, Musical Sound, etc., are all options for alarm sounds, so should a podcast.

Currently, the only way to play a podcast is to manually select it. No way to save it as a Playlist to select it as a daily alarm.

From the squeezebox radio, when I select the “my APP” Podcast, I can only add to the favorite list the daily Podcast (the podcast with the daily date), not the “envelope” of the Podcasts that gets updated daily with new episodes. For instance, this is the envelope of the podcast for an NPR radio show: http://marketplace.publicradio.org/RSS/marketplace.php

This is what will update daily and produce a daily podcast. This is the posdcast that I must select as a daily alarm.
 
 
How to reproduce it:
With the Logitech Radio, I must be able to play the podcast as a daily alarm, choosing "current playlist" as the sound option and the Podcast of my choosing. The Podcast gets updated daily, and when the alarm clock goes off, the latest Podcast plays.
