vidur thinks it might have something to do with perl 5.6 but i don't have a way
to try this myself

Checked in a fix with change 3750. Will make it into 6.1.

This bug was marked resolved in Slimserver 6.1, which is several versions ago.  If you're still seeing this bug, please re-open it.  Thanks!
